Summer Loving
I have a great family and I have great "in-laws" My brother-in-law and his girlfriend are just too cute...I HAD to take their photo while vacationing with them up north this year. I think these are fun "love sessions" and are perfect for boyfriend and girlfriend who are not ready for the engagement sessions :) Ahh to be young and so photogenic! Mitch and Madi you guys are just too cute (but Mitch you already knew that right?)

Eric and Gena are Married!
You may remember Eric and Gena from their fun engagement session back in May. Gena and Eric live in Chicago, but Eric's family is from Michigan. Gena looked gorgeous in her gown and Eric looked very handsome. The wedding was a blast and all of their friends and family were having a ton of fun!
So, the worst possible thing that could happen to me did happen, but thankfully it happened at the end of the evening. My Canon 5D broke! GASP! I know, it was terrible and I thought I was going to pass out! Thankfully I had a back up camera, had a 2nd shooter AND it happened after the cake cutting and toasts! What happened you ask? Well, the mirror fell off! I was just snapping a photo of an adorable baby and all of a sudden I see darkness, my heart sank and I felt faint. I opened up the shutter and "flop" my mirror slides out! I closed my eyes, counted to ten and then I grabbed my trusty 2nd camera and continued on my way.
Good news came that night when I got home to research what happened. Apparently this is a common problem for my model and Canon repaired it for free and it is now back into my hands and better than new. Hallelujah! Or as Marc would say "Yea God!"
Here are a few photos from the evening.

Baby Alexander - Plymouth, MI Newborn & Infant Photography
My family went camping the 2nd week of July with two other families. Two of our families us came home and one had to stay and have their baby! Yep, little baby Alexander decided to surprise his parents by arriving a few weeks early and while camping! I was so excited to meet this little guy and even more excited when I was asked to capture his newborn preciousness (is that even a word?!) So, here are a few pics from the session.

Baby C - Plymouth, MI Newborn & Infant Photography
I am way behind on my blog! I had the pleasure of having a 3 month session with baby C. She is a little miracle that was born just a few months (yes months) early! So, even though she is 3 months she is technically at age "0." She is just to precious for words and I could not stop saying how cute she was! Here are a few pics from the session!
